(One of text book of art class for junior high school students)

At the first stage of beginning of drawing, I just draw what I want to see and what I want to paint, as much as I seek. (It’s still hard to have vision for create)

But I become to think what the art is.

Whenever I see great artworks, I lost confidence. I know Comparing is not good and it does not need to compare to other works.

In that days, i came across a great word from some gallery that I applied for open calls.

“Keep doing what you’re doing and keep expressing yourself in your own unique way. You are the only person who can make your art and express your own visual voice.  It’s important that your voice be heard and seen!” (Clapping hands!!)

The art is uncertain thing. Visual Sense is up to each person and good evaluation should be made if the sense is matched.

In order to get certain answer, I have read some books about art and visited many museum/exhibition. 

Here’s One of books I read, "Japan island, Travelling contemporary art" (「日本列島　現代アートを旅する」).

Author is intiative person of Naoshima art project in Japan and he is introducing top 10 master pieces that you can watch in Japan, which is including Isamu Noguchi, Ron Muek, Walter De Maria, Mark Rothko and so on.

In his book, He described an art as to watch and interpret a work leads to create another new thing.  

Actually, according to him, Sen No Rikyu, a founder of tea ceremony, once started to use a korean china cup to resemble a great tea ceremony. 

he also stressed out the importance of expression by words when you are impressed with some work.

Dec 31 already! Time fly indeed.

Photos is taken at Wald art studio where Chika Miyata's solo exhibition is held the other day. She is well known illustrator who is from Saga and raise up her two small kids. She featured her trip to Paris with her kids and other cute motives. As I am looking for my new cup, I bought her work. (Here Montmartre town is drawn.)

Let me throw back my 2019..

It’s full of activity as an artist, Some invitation and many open calls and two art catalog. Gallery tour is made often as well.

I have had great Indian film and Indian cuisine as well. Moreover I could land India and Singapore finally!! I got to know how to wear Saree.

I skipped unlike incidents.

Thank you so much for your kind support and kind friendship during 2019.

For Upcoming new year 2020, may good day be piling up with you and I hope it turn out to be an alluring beautiful flower.

色々バタバタしているうちに気付いたら12/31。

先日ですが、なんとかミヤタチカさんの個展に行けました。小さいお子さんが2人もいる佐賀出身の方でこのギャラリーのアート教室の出身とか。パリの風景が可愛らしくて、探していた、マグカップをお迎えすることにしました。世界の多言語にも翻訳されてるイラスト辞典の作者さんで、素敵な方。

artist biologyと作品のstatementもなんとか仕上げ今年最後の提出に間に合いました！

2019はたくさんの絵の公募など、絵描き関連に明け暮れた1年でした。インド映画やインド料理にも更に恵まれて更にインドにもシンガポールにもいけてよかったです。サリーの着付けもマスターしたし。

きつい&苦しいも色々ありましたが、それは端折ります。

皆さま色々ありがとうございました💕

来年も佳き日々の積み重ねができて、更に大きく花開きますように。💕

first time in my life, I got participated a group exhibition that held in Osaka.

It's organised by Japan illustration association that proffesional creators join. But for this opportunity,  you can join the exhibition if not have membership.

The other day I got a chance to come to see it and stopped by the venue.

The venue is Enocojima art center, located in west area of Osaka. (near Osaka metro Awaza)

It's one of art spot that accelerate art and solve social  issue by art and The venue is so Retro.

Artboxproject Miami 2.0 has begun!

It's opened from Dec 02 to 08 during Miami art basel art week. The venue is Edardo lira gallery near Wynwood wall art district in Miami, US.

Heard Miami is one of best hotspot in art field.

From Dec 3 to 09, Art Basel art week is held in whole Miami. During the week, artbox project miami 2.0 is held at a gallery near Wynwood artwall.

There my two works are shown digitally with other participants!

Though my works are not selected as finalist nor semi finalist, I am still happy.

I am honor to be a part of the project Artbox project Miami 2.0.

Below is my fanart work that inspired from  an indian film "Kesari".

It's about Saragarhi battle took place in 1897 in India, in which only 21sikh warrior got battle against 10,000 enemies from Afganistan. Moreover 20 of them is originally a soldier in charge of communication of military who has no experience of actual battle. Upon one honorable soldier's personnel move, salgali troop has changed to holy one under the name of Sikh.

For them, It’s also a holy battle under the name of Sikh and name of honor. The film focused each sikh warrior one by one.

What impressed me the most is coloring effect. Base color in the film is sand beige and kahki.

Military outfit and background are almost in these color. 

Sometimes the film put other contrast color and makes the scene look more beautiful. Most important color to sikh is safran, which becomes film title. Kesari means safran in Hindi languages.

In the film, this color is used at most important episode.

There is brutal visual as well as it's battle film. However it's a beautiful work.

Wisdom, it might be the right time human being must review it again.

When I entered the exhibition space, I found a big library that remind you Harry Potter series! 

知の壁 means wall of wisdom.

Voila! 

It's from some picture of the exhibition named "THE BOOKS THAT CHANGED THE WORLD" organised by Kanazawa industrial University. Surprisingly it's free of charge despite many inspiring content.

You can see 1st publish of each book that Kanazawa industrial University has at the venue. As far as I recognizes, these books has published from 15 C to 20 C. It varies from archetecture to mathmatic, science, species, medical, chemical.electricity.

BTW it includes rare books(稀覯書) that difinite ①only few exist on the planet ②1st edition③very old book, ④artisc value due to typography or beautiful design or well binding ⑤with

signature of author. It sounds  sizzling when you hear these difinition? Right?

The books at the venue is a valuable collection of Kanazawa industrial University has collected for a long term.

Today I received the photograph of my work in Swiss Art expo that taken from photograper of Artbox project group.

It's a very big international group exhibition held at Zurich main station,Switzerland. 

Though I was not able to visit the venue, I can see my work in the exhibition.

Resembling teqnique has often been used in Japanese culture since ancient Japan, in mythology. Especially it's used in japanese gardening style like karezansui. dry garden style.

In his works, wonderful unique idea can be seen anywhere, which breaks our stereotype in our mind.

It was 5th time to watch it.

The name of the film is "Wearing with you(Tenki no ko)" directed by Makoto SHINKAI.

He became world-widely famous for previous film, "Your name(Kimi no na wa)"

Viva! Japan made animation.

The story is based upon weather. You could see many types clouds and various beautiful sky and rains. When I watching it, I even feel so cool while so muggy summer in Japan. Hope you will learn about clouds and weather more through the film.

Other than that, other important factor is juvenescence. I felt it must be a film for awkward age. 

One of main character is  a girl who bring the sun exists there, she is teenage. Other main character is a boy coming from an island near Tokyo. He is also teen age.

Whenever I watch this film, I felt their painfully awkward & unstable feeling much through main characters, Hodaka(boy)and Hina(girl).

Many types of sky and weather over Tokyo area are beautifully drawed

in the film.

I wish I could fly there or I have got everywhere door (of Doraemon)..

At first I'll let you know I am not Animation fan nor Gundam fan.

Currently, at Fukuoka city museum, in Fukuoka city, "TOMINO Yuhki's world" exhibition, who is famous for a great general director of Gundam, is opened until 1 Sep.

Not only Gundam fans, but also many non gundam fan go to watch it. It said it's realized upon one of curator's strong request to Mr. TOMINO. 

As strongly recommended exhibition, there is many related events as well, in which, some of his works (film "IDEON" ) are on screen at the museum.

Animation film screening at the art Museum!?

Museum must be changed so much.

I joined one of events after I watched the exhibition. I got to know why his exhibition is held at the museum.

Universal theme, such as ''life", "love", "family" and "peace" , is

ultimately organized in his works and give people impact into their soul. 

Theme of "IDEON" that screen show is how good we should live. After the show, I even heard a big applause.

I become understand how much his works have affected people's life.

At the museum, no more silent..

Whether fine art or animation or gunpla work, good work is greatly applaused, not so good one is so-so.

Super Hot, muggy, humid these days, isn't it?

While muggy weather, I and my friend visited DALI exhibition held in Chikugo city, Fukuoka, Japan that just opened because there is a lecture about Dali on that day.

Despite very famous artist but it's still unfamiliar who actually he is and what surrealism is.

Acc to the lecuturer, who is specialist of Dali, there is even a misunderstanding concept

 about surrealism. it's not a reality in dream nor just odd.

Surrealism is a result of ultimated thinking, just like super happy. 

if no fixed concept, you will see more reality in front of you. 

Dali is a great multi talented artist, he tried to express his inside bias surrealism. 

Meanwhile he used several motif to his works many times. The motif is very familiar thing to him like his wife, egg, stick, ants, bread, landscape nearby etc.

Very fine but impressive, Odd but very hard learner.

I didn't know he created logo of Chupa chupps. Do you remember in Indian movie, Baahubali, King Balaladeva uses a weapon similar looks Chupa chupps?

it became my another nutriation before watching Dali's work.

Now I also draws, so I took a closer look to his touch of works than before and took many time to complete watching.

毎日暑さが続いておりますが、友人とダリ版画 展にいってまいりました。

目玉の、TVにもでてるダリ研究家の方の話を聞いてからいったので、展覧会をより楽しめました。

ダリはスペインのカタルーニャ地方の生まれで、スペイン産のいわゆるイケメンで、風貌はエキセントリックな風にみえますが、他の写真みると、普段は穏やかな目をされていて、表舞台では演じているある意味お笑い芸人とおなじような感じ？

展覧会は版画展で、ダンテの神曲の挿し絵からはじまります。これが版画とは！

ブロンズ像もありました。15歳の時の版画編にまじり、画家の採点表をつけていたのが興味深い。フェルメールが大好きのようで、シュールな画風だけど、古典画家がお好きなよう。自分の採点までしている(しかも高得点w)

個人的にはチュッパチャップスのロゴデザインがダリによるものだという話が興味深かったです。(→バラーラデーヴァ王に伝えなければw)

カタルーニャはUKにいた時に、マヨルカ島出身者がいて、故郷に尋常でない誇りを持っていたのが印象的でした。

はー、アートはいいなー。

How inspiring of her works!

So colorful and creative form! 

Today I stopped by IMS (shopping, restaurant and many interactive complex mall in Fukuoka, in which u can visit unique art gallery) and came across her exhibition.

Luckily I can also enjoy collaboration dance performance using her costume twice.

At the exhibition site, Costume trial experience is provided without any additional, many visitor enjoyed it.

I was one of them. At that time, i asked someone to take a movie my turnaround in the Costume. Turn movement created a beautiful shadow on the ground and her friend (my camera man at that time. w) took the shadow by her camera.

Art is a philosophy.

When I tried to make my statement for some purpose. it's first experience in my life, I noticed art is like a philosophy. not only art teqnique, quality, but also require many words and writing skill.

It's not to just describe what you see nor 

not to draw accurately as you see.

Behind one scene on a picture, many information, many thought, many dream are gathered and knitted. And a good story and  coloriing that I always want to have near me..

I wish I can find many good impressive word and write kind of essay to describe mine and my works..
